He was recommended by Dr. Ellis of Childersburg. First time I met him I felt comfortable in his presence and that means a lot.I highly recommend Dr. S. Andrew Sabo.His staff has been nothing but kind,friendly and courteous and the staff reflect directly to Doctor.They called and never once did I wonder what was going on or when it was happening. A special shout out to Cameron S Askew for helping me through this surgical procedure by phone.

Dr. Askew and her staff are beyond amazing I had such a good experience both in office and during my surgical experience. My husband was kept well informed. Highly recommended and definitely one of the best experiences I've had in a hospital setting.

I was in a freestanding ER for 3 days septic and when I got transferred to an actual hospital and met Dr Sabo at the hospital and he took an infected cyst out of the back of my neck. I had a different cyst taken out by a previous doctor and Sabo even looked at those too, he is extremely caring type of guy. If i could give him more than 5 stars I definitely would

I can honestly say one of the best decisions I have ever made was deciding to get weight loss surgery and choosing Dr. Askew to walk the journey with me! I originally weighed 384 lb in July 2019, now in 2022 I am still at my goal weight. It is not just the surgery that has helped so much but the tools that her and the staff equips you with to have long term successes!

Dr. Sabo came with great reviews from other colleagues. His staff was very kind and professional and so was he. He treated me with great bedside manners and urgency.

From top to bottom. I have no complaints. I appreciate their willingness to answer little mundane questions, to the hand holding throughout the process. This office is worth the drive no matter where are are located. I can't speak to other Doctors, but this one here is worth the time, the conversation to whatever your needs may be.

Dr. Askew and her staff are all amazing. I just recently had the gastric sleeve surgery and literally everyone I had any interaction with went above and beyond at being friendly, kind and encouraging. It was so nice to be walking the halls and hearing all the kind words of encouragement from the staff. The sweet lady bringing my food/liquid options in was very kind with a bubbly contagious uplifting spirit she spread from room to room. This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a hospital. It was so nice having no worry if I trusted my surgeon, no worry about cleanliness of the facility, or if I would get assistance from staff when and if needed. The facility was sparkling clean, Doctor and all staff literally gave me the best experience possible to be having a surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Askew and the staff at Brookwood. I chose Dr. Askew after having 4/5 consultations around Birmingham and without a doubt I knew she was my best option. Bedside manner, empathy and passion for helping her patients really shine through with every interaction I’ve had with her (zoom, bedside, in person, etc.). Beyond happy with my choice to use Dr. Askew.
